Examine and explore user experiences across various recipe apps and sites. Understand pain point and frustrations when cooking with recipes online or using apps.

Consider features and enhancements that can scale across audiences to ensure seamless usability and reduce cognitive load for a more enjoyable cooking experience!

My Approach was to go for quick wins and provide an experience I knew would scale to broader audiences by developing concepts focused on user pain points, such as users not remembering the ingredients or measurements. I also chose to use a guided experience where users can ask the AI questions about the recipes or read the step-by-step process.

Figma Make concepts took less time in the end-to-end development process, using only four prompts to create a fully clickable prototype. I did, however, previously draft wireframes during a graduate studies project. At the time, Figma Make wasn’t available, so I utilized the tool to develop a lo-fi concept.

Clip Champ is slightly more intelligent and requires less prompting for video editing. The platform is more intuitive and provides an open platform for users to copy and paste pre-written text for the AI agent voice-overs. Clip Champ will not develop an end-to-end clickable prototype like Make and can only be leveraged for Stakeholder deliverables and engagement purposes, not for a shippable product or development handoffs.
